Smells great, wish there was more of it as I have a lot of hair so it doesn’t go a long way. But I believe it’s doing it’s job, the brass in my hair has toned quite a bit and my blonde looks brighter.
I have been using this for about a month and a half or so and after about 3-4 uses I can definitely see a very noticeable difference in brightness of my blonde as well as brassiness has toned way down. I will definitely be buying more I love it.
I am doing a follow up from my last review as per my first experience, to my recent results.
My first review I stated that it absolutely works, but with patience. The first time I used Suntouched for dark hair was last year and it wasn't until the second bottle that my hair started to lighten.
This time around I had quicker results, despite the same hair fail scenario of dying my hair at home and ending up with dark brown hair -- lesson finally learned (hopefully).
My results are within a span of 1 month and still on my first bottle. I took the process slower this round because my first experience I was so desperate to have my hair lighter as quickly as possible and dried my hair badly. The left photo is from January 1st and the right is February 4 of this year. I did 3 sessions with outside sun exposure, 1 with the hair dryer and 1 with both hair dryer and then sun afterwards. After each session I did a hot oil treatment because I have extremely fine hair that can split and dry easily and this prevented any damage.
I bought the bundle so I still have another bottle which I will likely spread out using and see if my hair will get even lighter or if I've reached the maximum. Currently, I'm happy with the results which are a golden medium from dark brown.
I wasn't sure how effective this would be based on the ingredients but it's done a great job making my hair look like I've spent the summer at the beach. Great for creating highlights and a bit of subtle all over lightening. My hair is dark blonde but lightens well with time spent in the water and sunny weather.
I was nervous going in , after the spray I noticed a difference. I have a chestnut shade with a few auburn strands. This lightened it to a very pretty copper/blonde color ( not orange or brassy though) it's just very beautiful and my boyfriend loves it. I recommend it ,however I must note it's a small bottle,so if you have waist length hair like me, I recommend getting 2 bottles.
Has lightened my hair but only to golden red.
My natural colour is mid brown.
It wasn't until the 2nd bottle that I started seeing significant lightening of my hair.
I had dyed my hair at home and the results left my hair nearly black. I wanted to try an at-home solution first before resorting to the salon.
The first bottle didn't show me any results but, from a few reviews I saw regarding it taking longer; said that they started seeing results with a second bottle. This was also true with my results: I went from dark brown, nearly black hair to a nice golden medium brown.
My only regret was not taking the process slower because I did apply a lot within a short span of time and horribly dried the ends of my hair to which I had to get it cut.
I just repurchased the bundle to once again lighten my hair and will be taking the process slower this time around, knowing that it does indeed work; but patience is key.
