I'm so glad I took a chance on this. I have dirty blond hair that's fairly responsive to sunlight. My hair was more than 3 shades lighter when I lived in Colorado, but has darkened significantly since moving to Alaska. My darker natural hair color is frustrating since it looks “dirty” so easily. I have wavy-curly hair and try to follow the curly girl method, so I have been hesitant to try salon coloring treatments and ruin my texture. I used the baking soda + hydrogen peroxide DIY method for awhile. This was intermittently effective and definitely wrecked havoc on my texture for up to a week afterwards. Plus the application was messy and it irritated skin at my neck and hairline. I decided to try something pre-made and this was a lucky find. Its super easy to apply and my hair doesn't require a recovery mask afterwards. Because of my DIY treatments I only needed to lighten the top and under regions, so I just spray there, comb to distribute, and put my hair in a bun or clip for the day. Im not sure I would apply this when styling my hair down. I tried blow drying but prefer to apply on a sunny day and take the dogs for a long walk. After the first application I started to see results in a few hours and definitely by the next day. No mess, no crunch, no damage. Its definitely not a drastic change, and I suspect if your hair doesn't noticeably lighten with sunlight you might be disappointed. My only regret is not taking before and after photos. Its to be seen if there's damage from long-term use andhow often it needs to be reapplied. But so far great product and more than worth the price.

I've been using it a few times now and I really like it. It lightens your hair in a subtle way which is amazing, you can gradually lighten to achive the look that you want. It gives a good tone to your hair, I was worried because I have dyed hair and wasn't sure how it was going to turn out but it's amazing, it doesn't give you any weird undertone.

I have dark brown hair and was sceptic before use. But I am amazed. After two times use, my Dark hair was noticably lighter. Not a sceptic anymore. Will be buying again.

Great lightening set. Gradually took out the henna in my hair with this over the period of a month and then I was able to successfully bleach it to a light yellow!

This is my 2nd bottle of Suntouched Lighten, I'm loving the effects it has on my hair, but I do get brassy. 2nd wash with the blue mask and it makes a huge difference, creating a whole range of highlights and shadows that's exactly what I wanted. I love the smell, I love how soft it is on my hair.

I don’t normally write reviews because products never do what they are intended to do but this product is amazing! I’m a dark blonde and normally pay mega for a balayage in the hairdressers, but I purchased suntouched in the hope that it would work. IT DOES WORK!
I’m amazed at how natural it blends and lifts the colour of my hair and lightens my darker roots.
It does make make the whiter bits of my blonde grey at first until I wash my hair then it’s back to blonde. LOVE IT! 100% recommend.

A bit of context for my case: I’m a natural blonde whose hair darkened during the teenage years. As a child I had a golden very light blonde but over time it turned light brown and even medium brown in winter. I live in Cannes, France so every summer I would get my highlights thanks to the sun and salted water from the sea.

But ever since I lost my blonde I have been trying to recover it. As I have virgin hair and want to keep them clean and chemical free I tried natural ways to lighten hair such as chamomile, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, honey… and not one method satisfied me with the results.

Desperate, I sought help from a hairdresser who told me that only lightening sprays really would help me recover my blonde without too much damage. I tried a lot of sprays such as Nordic Blonde from Schwarzkopf, Okara from Rene Furterer, Go Blonder for John Frieda or the chamomile spray from Klorane. Only Nordic Blonde gave me results but it was a strawberry blonde with a lot of orange tones.

I kept searching and found this brand. And after seeing the before/after photos and doing some research on the site I was excited to try this, as a lot of reviews bragged about how it turned hair blonde and not orange I told myself « let’s do it what have I got to lose? »

I bought 2 bottles of the light hair version and tried twice at home but without heat or sun. I did get results but they were very subtle. Today I had the day for myself and it was one of those beautiful sunny days like you could imagine in the south of France : very hot and sunny. I went to the beach for 5h30 with one and only one goal: try this suntouched lightening spray everyone was praising. AND WHAT CAN I SAY? IT’S MIRACULOUS !!

Practically all my brassy hair has been replaced with golden or light blonde hair. To be clear I washed my hair this morning, went to the beach at 11:30, put my hair in the salted water, towel dried them until damp, sprayed about a fifth of the bottle all over them, combed them, put some more product (just to be sure 😂) and let it sit until 17:00. I did put more product as time went by (every 45 min) because I wanted it to work so bad lmao. At the end of the day I had used half of the bottle and my hair lightened at least 1 shade. IN JUST ONE APPLICATION !! I recommend it to every desperate natural blonde whose hair darkened, this is your savior !! I’m so glad I gave this a try, I’m addicted to it and will never stop it !! Just keep in mind that it’s good to moisturize your hair after using this so there’s no frizzy hair, even if the hair quality is very good after. CONCLUSION: NO ORANGE TONES, FAST RESULSTS, GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT, CRUELTY FREE, DON’T HESITATE !!! Thank you Suntouched !!

I was skeptical about this product at first on whether or not it would be able to lighten my dark brown Asian hair. After two uses I'm so surprised that it has visibly lightened my hair, and even more surprised at how soft my hair feels. It feels even healthier after putting the product in and heat-styling it. It also smells phenomenal. I got a blue conditioning mask from somewhere else but I wish I got it in the Suntouched bundle, as I can tell this is a great company that uses high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend it!

As an adult bronde former blonde child, I was impressed by how much lightness this brought back to me hair. It also seems to do very little, if any damage, which is nice compared to other lightening methods I’ve tried. The purple conditioner is also amazing!
