Suntouched started because I couldn’t find a hair lightener that actually gave me the look I wanted.

The kind that makes you look like you’ve spent months by the ocean. But everything I tried either dried my hair out, turned it orange, or cost hundreds at the salon to maintain.

So I started making my own.

What began as a personal project turned into a brand that’s now been used by 100,000+ people around the world, which still feels surreal to say.

Over the years, I’ve grown Suntouched while traveling full-time through places like Nicaragua, Mexico, Greece, and Costa Rica. Today, I run the company from Nosara, Costa Rica, where life revolves around the sun, surfing, the ocean, slow mornings, and simplicity. That lifestyle shapes everything we create.

We currently make two lightening formulas: one for light hair and one for dark hair.

Both are heat-activated. Spray it on, spend some time in the sun (or use a blow dryer), and gradually lighten your hair up to three shades, on your own terms.

We also created toning masks for aftercare — purple for light hair and blue for dark hair — designed to help neutralize unwanted brassiness while keeping hair soft, healthy-looking, and hydrated.

Our formulas are vegan and cruelty-free, and made without parabens, sulfates, or silicones. We focus heavily on ingredients that nourish while they lighten, so hair stays soft, healthy-looking, and touchable.
